Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 April 2026
ClearComplaint respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect,
why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
What information we collect
- Information you enter into the complaint form (e.g. description of the issue).
- Technical data such as IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention).
- Payment confirmation details from Stripe (we do not see your card details).
How we use your information
- To generate a complaint letter at your request.
- To process payments and prevent fraud.
- To maintain service reliability and security.
Temporary storage
Complaint drafts are stored temporarily on our server in order to:
- Show you a preview before payment.
- Deliver the full letter after payment.
Drafts are automatically deleted after a short period (typically within a few hours).
We do not build long-term profiles or databases of complaint content.
Third-party services
- Stripe – used to process payments securely.
- OpenAI – used to generate the letter text based on your input.
These services process data only as required to deliver the service.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share complaint content for marketing.
- We do not store card or payment details.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to request access to or deletion
of personal data we hold about you. In practice, most data is automatically deleted.
